Robert Cazimero
Robert Cazimero is one
of those treasured and beloved singers
recognizable by the first notes he sings. Robert and his
brother
Roland (the Brothers Cazimero) were instrumental in the resurgence
of Hawaiian music and culture during the 1970's and have
released
over 30 albums since then. They have toured internationally
and have
made numerous TV appearances, most recently on the PBS special,
Songs of Aloha.
Robert is also Kumu Hula of Halau Na Kamalei where he continues
to mentor future generations devoted to the perpetuation of
Hawaiian culture.
