Opening Night Event

Friday, May 21, 2004 - 7:00 p.m. at Cantor Film Center #200

The Ride, directed by Nathan Kurosawa

The festival will begin with two New York premieres, "On the Waves at Waikiki" (an archival short introduced by Desoto Brown) and "The Ride" (a feature by Nathan Kurosawa). The evening will continue with a reception honoring our filmmakers and will include a special live performance by renowned Hawaiian entertainer, Robert Cazimero.  (As space is limited, please respond by May 11, 2004)

 

Closing Night Pa`ina

Sunday, May 23, 2004 - 8:30 p.m . at Tisch Common Lounge

Join us in the closing night celebration of Pacifika 2004!  The evening will be filled with pupu (appetizers), cash bar, hula and live Hawaiian music by celebrated entertainers, Kawika Trask, Clinton Chee, and special guests.
